Kemp’s Landing Magnet is a a middle school in Virginia Beach, VA, and is part of the Virginia Beach City Public Schools District. It houses grades 6-8 and is among the most distinguished schools in the state. With a 16:1 student to teacher ratio they have an enrollment of 577 students.
Kemp’s maintains nearly a 100% pass rate in the State of Virginia’s standardized testing, it being a rarity to dip below the perfect mark. Although they have a variety of extracurricular activities it is best known for it’s band and orchestra. French, Latin, Spanish, and Japanese are all taught as second languages.
